THE ROAD TO A "YES" IS PAVED WITH "NOs"
In this video, I talk about the two forms of fear that used to paralyze me in the past: The fear of rejection and fear of failure.
For years I let those fears set the limits of who I was and what life could be for me. In the sense that to avoid rejection, to avoid hearing the word “No,” I wouldn’t ask, I wouldn’t dare, I wouldn’t open my heart, I wouldn’t really live.
Now a "No" excites me as much as a "Yes." Because it is when I don’t get what I want, rather than when I get it, that I feel the urge to challenge myself, to discover more, and learn more.
In fact, when life doesn’t give you what you want. When life “tells” you “No” on a meaningful path, it’s not to discourage you, to deny what you want. It is simply inviting you to dive deeper into yourself. And the journey in self-discovery and the growth that is required to turn that “No” into a “Yes,” really is the essence of life.
So, embrace the moments when you don’t get what you want. Learn to love the "No" as much as the "Yes" Because the adventure of life requires you to dance with both if you want to grow. If you want to unleash your full potential.
